We have almost thirty years of experience in residential design. We have been directly involved in the start to finish construction of three of the homes that we designed for ourselves, including one on which we acted as the builder and general contractor, co-ordinating all construction activities and working directly with all sub-contractors, and another which we mostly built ourselves. We use this first hand construction experience to help guide us through the design process, to ensure that what works well on paper will also work well in the real world.
All of our plans are created using the latest AutoCAD software. For an extra charge, 3D renderings of your project can be created if you wish. Our service also includes support after the plans are completed. We are always available to clarify design questions during the construction process.
We are located in northeast Minnesota, just outside of Ely. We prefer to host design and review meetings in our office. If necessary, we can travel to your location anywhere within the Iron Range for meetings, and we've also managed projects virtually. Additionally, we can communicate design ideas via email and PDF's as necessary as we progress through the design stages.
